Our Day At The Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch 10-28-08

One of our favorite traditions at Halloween time is taking the kids to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. The kids love the bounce houses, the hay rides, running through the pumpkin fields, and finding their way through the hay maze. Best of all, it is free! This year, the morning started off like any Texas fall morning. We woke up to an arctic blast! It was 30 degrees, and the only thought that was running through my head was that we were going to be miserably freezing! I gathered multiple jackets from all aorund the house before we left, just in case. However, when we arrived, the sun was shining beautifully, and very few clouds were in the sky.
We were in for a wonderful time. Nana and our friends the Jones' came with us. We played and ran all over from 10-1. We took lots of pictures, and thanks to our Mimi, we looked very festive for the ocassion. (The kids absolutely love wearing their Halloween attire to the pumpkin patch as you can see!) It was a great day!
