Upon taking Natalie for her last haircut, I was desperate to get her a cut that would even out her WILD!!!! hair! She has always had very strange hair. Course, frizzy, stubborn, and most of all uneven! It seems that her hair never grows in at the same rate. Well, yesterday, Nate comes downstairs with a pink box, belonging to Brianna, full of hair and a pair of scissors. The crazy thing is, there was so much hair in there, we cannot figure out how we could not obviously see it missing from Natalie's head. Good thing for Natalie, though, is that it was obviously done a while ago, because her hair is quite short now. We would surly know if that much was missing. I really hope that she grows out of her fascination with scissors, hair, and markers/crayons soon!

Nate and Natalie have started public school! After much prayer and discussion, we thought that they might enjoy it. So far, so good! Nate absolutely loves his teacher Mrs. Jackson! He is already making new friends and getting use to his new schedule. Natalie is a little harder to read. She does not give us much information about her days yet, but I am sure that will come with time and maturity. Her poor teacher had her first baby on the first day of school, so we have yet to meet her. Natalie will have a permanate sub for the next 6 weeks until her actual teacher is back from maternity leave. From all her letters to the parents and students, she seems like she will be a fantastic teacher also.
